JF Andrews have been awarded the contract to replace the 3No existing drainage pumps within the old pump house of the Titanic's Thompson Dock. The original steam pumps were installed in 1900 and can drain the complete dock in less than 1hr.

JF Andrews will be replacing the the old pumps with 2No new Grundfos horizontal end suction pumps, which will ensure that the Thompson dock remains dry for future generations to enjoy the birth place of the most famous ship in the world.
